Attention all NPT Players and Venues. In an attempt to maintain competition and fairness, we are making the following rule change. Effective immediately and for all of 2010, players will only be allowed to earn one seat to our Year End Championship. Furthermore, championship seats will not be transferable to other players.
Therefore, once you have been awarded a seat (for example as Player of the Month, “Win 2 And You’re In”, awarded by a venue, etc.), you will not be eligible to receive additional seats. In the event that you qualify for a seat after you already have been awarded a seat, the seat in question will be awarded to the next eligible player from that event.

We held our June freeroll yesterday on Bodog. Players qualified to play in the freeroll by winning a live game at one of our venues, or by earning 50 poker points playing on Bodog in June. You can learn more about accruing Bodog Poker Points here. You’ll recall that this freeroll was the first under our new “Win Two And You’re In” promotion. That means we were giving away a seat to our 2010 $100,000 Year End Championship to the top freeroll finisher who qualified by winning a live tournament at a PlayNPT venue. So, we have two people to congratulate.
First, let’s congratulate wolfdog22 for winning the June freeeroll. Wolfdog22 qualified for the freeroll by earning more than 50 poker points on Bodog.
Second, a big congratulations to Rita Trent who is awarded the first seat in our “Win 2 And You’re In” promotion. Rita finished 3rd in the freeroll, but was the top finisher of the players who qualified by winning a live event in one of our venues. We’ll see you in Vegas in the spring, Rita!

We are thrilled to announce our new “Win 2 and You’re In” promotion! Any player who wins a nightly event (starting with players who won in June) at one of our venues and then wins that month’s freeroll (which would be the freeroll on July 25th for June’s winners) will automatically get a seat at the 2010 NPT Championship where there will be at least $100K up for grabs!

Attention Players - Freeroll Eligibility - Wed, 23 Jun 2010 18:50:56 -0500
Our monthly freeroll for MAY tournament winners is scheduled for this Sunday at 3pm EST on Bodog. You are eligible to play in this freeroll if you won a live tournament during the month of May or if you earned 50 or more “poker points” on Bodog during the month of May. If you won a live tournament in May, you must have had your Bodog account number and screen name in your NPT profile by 5th of this month.
We run reports that we send to Bodog that tells them who to allow entry into the freeroll. There is not a password for this event! If you cannot register for the tournament, it is likely for one of the following reasons:
- You did not win a live tournament game in May. If you won a game in June, you are eligible for the freeroll on July 25th.
- Your Bodog account information was not entered into your NPT profile by the 5th of June. This is when we run the report.
- There is an issue with your Bodog account.
Players cannot be added to the invite list once the tournament opens for registration. Let us know if we can help you find out which of these is the problem so you don’t miss any freerolls in the future.

If you won a nightly tournament at one of our venues in May you should’ve already had your Bodog info listed in your Player Profile at playnpt.com. We usually turn in the list on the 10th BUT we’re giving everybody some extra time this month and will run the list first thing Monday morning (June 21st). We’ve had a tremendous response to our Register to Win promotion. We’re awarding a seat to our 2010 Year End Championship as well as $500 in travel money to the winner. In the past few weeks, we’ve made a number of enhancements to PlayNPT.com. Now, when you login, you will be redirected to a customized profile page. This page will show your recent finishes, as well as a summary of any points earned this month, last month, and year to date. Additionally, you will see a listing of any games schedule within 25 miles of your zip code, as well as any news and promotions from NPT Venues in your area.
To encourage everyone to register and check out their new profile page, we are excited to announce our “Register To Win” Promotion. Here’s how it works. Going back to January 1st, 2010 through December 31, 2010, we will pick five random players each month who have registered at PlayNPT.com. Did you register last December when we relaunched PlayNPT.com? Well, you’re in luck, because we’ll pick 5 players who registered in December 2009 as well. The players chosen at random will be notified via the email address used in the registration process.
In January, 2011, we will hold a special online freeroll tournament for the 65 lucky players. The winner of this tournament will receive a seat in the 2010 National Championship to be held in Las Vegas, NV in April, 2011, as well as $500 in travel money.

Freeroll Eligibility - Wed, 26 May 2010 15:19:00 -0500
As many of you know, our monthly freeroll at Bodog is this weekend. There is always a flurry of emails the week before the freeroll regarding eligibility, so we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone how to get included in the freeroll.
The only way to get in is to win a tournament at a NPT host venue. That’s right, come in first place at any game hosted by one of our great venues, and you’re qualified. Please make sure that your Bodog Account Number and Screen Name are updated in your NPT profile. If you are not registered at Bodog, go ahead and do so now so your information is ready to go for future wins. Your Bodog info must be entered into your account by the 10th of the month following the month of your win in order to be included in that month’s freeroll. For example, if you won a game on Feb. 15th, you Bodog information must be entered by March 10th to be included in the Freeroll on March 28th.
Please note, winning a tournament at Bodog does not qualify you for the freeroll.
